The Rapiscan MobileCheck™ IRC is a mobile, easily deployable, integrated personnel security solution for critical checkpoints where safety of security personnel is vital.

This remotely operated non-intrusive baggage and people screening solution is housed in a standard 20 ft. container with the state of the art systems to detect threats, explosives, nuclear material and weapons.

The Integrated Re-locatable Checkpoint (IRC) system consists of two containers.

  • The Personnel Screening Container (PSC) is the portal where all the security inspection systems are housed and screening of people and their belonging takes place.
  • The Remote Operator Station (ROS) contains the operators, hardware and all the equipment necessary to operate the PSC remotely.

Personnel Screening Container (PSC) Components

  • One (1) 620XR – 620 mm Wide x 420 mm High, Baggage and Parcel Inspection system and One (1) meter roller table
  • One (1) Secure 1000 Dual Pose – Backscatter X-ray Whole Body Screening System
  • One (1) Radiation Detector
  • Three (3) CCTV Cameras

Remote Operator Station (ROC) Container Components

All remote operation is conducted via three operation stations:

  • One (1) Monitor, Operator Control Panel and Computer for operation and image viewing of Rapiscan 620XR
  • One (1) Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse and Computer for operation and image viewing of Secure 1000 Dual Pose
  • One (1) Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse and Computer for CCTV system and Door Control
  • All CCTV cameras contain built-in microphones and loudspeakers which it is used to communicate with passengers in the Personnel Screening Container.
  • The CCTV operator station also locks and unlocks the magnetic doors upon entrance and final exit of the passenger.
